9.01.020 Purpose

The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Gaming Commission of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, to enact ordinances, hereby enacts this chapter to promote tribal economic development, self-sufficiency, and sovereignty; to shield the operation of gaming from organized crime and other corrupting influences; and to ensure that gaming is conducted fairly and honestly by both the operator and players.
